Murrells Inlet
Presbyterian Church
Worship
Worship at MIPC is a blend of time-tested
beliefs and values celebrated at our 10 AM
service.
Here you will hear the old, old stories of
Biblical faith presented in fresh ways with a
relevance that speaks to our lives today.
We sing many of the great hymns of the
Christian faith along with new songs of
Christian celebration and praise.
There is a time in our worship for individual
(silent) confession of our sins which should
help us to humble ourselves before our God
and prepare us to hear His Word for us in
Scripture, Song, Sacrament and Sermon.
We offer a time for members of the
worshipping congregation to share the joys
and concerns that may be upon their hearts
as a part of the time of prayer during the
service.
We receive an offering during worship as a
way of acknowledging before God that in His
providence He provides all things for His
people and that we are called upon to be
thankful and joyous supporters of His
Kingdom.
If you will be worshipping with us for the
first time, you might want to know that
most of the worshippers enter through the
main doors (facing the bypass) to the
Sanctuary where Greeters and Ushers will
see that you receive a morning bulletin and
assist you with any questions. They will also
assist you in finding our staffed nursery for
your kindergarten and preschool aged
children if you would like.
"I was glad when
they said to me,
'Let us go to the
house of the
LORD.'"
